PODCAST MOVEMENT SESSIONS

HOST/PRODUCER, SEASON FOUR

To wrap up 2019, I spent several months hosting and producing Podcast Movement’s official branded show: Podcast Movement Sessions. I was the show’s fourth host in as many seasons and was tasked by co-founders Dan Franks and Jared Easley with assembling an eight episode narrative that would look back at that year’s Podcast Movement conference in Orlando Florida. Dan and Jared were particularly interested in showcasing PM19’s Society, Culture, and Advocacy Track which “encourage(d) speakers and attendees alike to address some of the most difficult, but also most important, topics head-on.”

Over the course of four days in Orlando, I sat with over 20 Podcast Movement speakers to discuss the relevant themes associated with the Society, Culture, and Advocacy Track which included advocacy, journalistic ethics, diversity, female empowerment, community, empathy, and more. The show also attempted to look toward the future of podcasting as the ever expanding medium continues to grow.

Featured in Podnews, Podcast Business Journal, and Insider Podcasting newsletters.

“Working with Ted on several different projects over the past few years has been a joy. Whether it was on-site collaboration for live podcasts and broadcast, or studio production, editing and voiceovers, Ted's work and attention to detail has been top notch. I'd not hesitate to continue working with Ted, and would give him my fullest recommendation to become a member of anyone's team”
